ABOUT THE AUTHOR Katie Krueger has lived, worked, and written in four continents and hopes to someday hit all seven. An entrepreneur, Katie owns Gratice Press LLC, a writing and speaking company whose mission is to help people grow their dreams. As a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar in Dakar, Senegal in 2004, Katie co-founded a nonprofit organization that promotes education in Senegal: Project Japalé Gouné. Through its school lunch program, this organization serves over 10,000 meals each year to 200 low-income students. Katie speaks to audiences about the importance of international education. Past audiences have included Viterbo University, Bennett College, North Carolina Association of International Educators, and Rotary International.
